I first came to Kuwait City in March 2014, for three days, just after my marriage. At that time I never thought I would become so connected with this city and its culture. I came back two more times, and in January 2020 I moved here for work. I lived here until 2023, when I moved to Dubai.
The days are very hot, and the evenings can turn cold. There are lots of food options, and the city is closely tied to India. The expat community here is like a family, something you rarely feel outside India.
